Effects of laser acupuncture on tissue temperature and blood perfusion rate of acupoints

     Based on the Pennes equation, this paper studies the effect of laser acupuncture on the temperature and blood perfusion rate of acupoint tissue. The results show that both continuous laser and pulsed laser acupuncture can increase the temperature and blood perfusion rate of acupoint tissue. With the increase of laser power density, the temperature and blood perfusion rate of acupoint tissue also increase. These studies provide a theoretical basis for the clinical application of laser acupuncture.
